Everyone has a dream.
At some point in our lives, we all had something we really wanted to achieve. But for many people, and for various reasons, we often let our biggest dreams eventually fade away.
I know because it has happened to me before. You get so busy chasing your life that you forget to chase your dreams. You get so beaten down by life that you believe you’re dream is unattainable. The bigger the dream, the harder it is to reach it. Almost always, it’s just easier to give up. That’s why those who make it are almost always those who refused to give up. It takes hard work and dedication.
Everyone has a dream. Very few have a grind.
The grind is tough. I am not a morning person. I’m a 10am-2pm person. Waking up at 3:30am is hell! But it is necessary. When you want to hit the snooze, know you’re sleeping on your dream. Whenever you want to go out for drinks, know you’re choosing that over the life you could be living. When you want to have a lazy Sunday, know the laziness won’t get you where you want to go. When you frame it in this mindset, the choice to grind becomes much easier to make.
What I’ve learned over the last month is that you can dream all you want. Dreaming is great. But you cannot just sit around, hoping that one day your dreams will come true. You cannot wish for it more than you work for it.
